    Potluck and Nature Hike: Friday, April 2nd, 6 pm- Are you feeling that spring-time itch? Then mark your calendar for Wagbo Farm's First Friday Potluck! The evening will start with dinner at 6 pm. Bring a dish to pass if you can, but it's not required. Wagbo provides drinks and table service. The program will start after dinner at 7 pm. Join Wagbo Intern Maria Wesserle on a hike through the farm's scenic property. Look for signs of spring like migrating birds, sprouting wildflowers, and awakening animals.     The STAND Strength Team is coming to East Jordan April 16th through April 18th for school assemblies and FREE evening programs at Lighthouse Missionary Church, each evening at 7:00pm.
    The STAND Strength Team is a national and international non-profit organization standing before thousands of people yearly. They go into public and private schools, prisons, churches and concerts using feats of strength to illustrate a powerful message.
    STAND is the most spectacular school assembly program in the nation; promoting anti-drugs, anti-alcohol, abstinence and academic excellence.After seeing the team in action the experience will be unforgettable and the impact will be life changing.     The Charlevoix Area Hospital cancer support group, "The Circle of Strength" is having its annual Fashion Show. The event will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Charlevoix Public Library from 2pm until 4pm. Donations will be accepted at the door. All proceeds will benefit access to cancer care in the area. Light fare will include hors d'oeuvres by Esperance and chocolate by Kilwins.
