7th annual Day of Caring

September 14th is our 7th annual Day of Caring in Charlevoix and Emmet Counties. Approximately 40 projects will be completed for low income seniors, nonprofits and governmental entities. Last year more than 600 volunteers came out to help out and lend a hand and we expect similar results tomorrow. Day of Caring was developed as a way to give back to your community and lend a helping hand to those in need, including nonprofit agencies who provide services to area residents and don’t have the necessary staff to get it all done on their own. Below you can find a list of some projects and times in which they will be completed, we invite you to stop by a local site, take some pictures and hear some volunteer stories.
