1 c. margarine 1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. molasses 1 c. milk 2 eggs |
7+ c. flour 1 t. baking soda 1 t. baking powder 1/2 t. ginger 2 t. cinnamon (optional) 1/2 t. cloves (optional) | |
Cream together sugar and margarine; then add molasses, eggs and milk. Add dry ingredients, adding enough flour to make a dough that can be rolled. Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes. | ||
For gingerbread, omit cinnamon and cloves and use 2 t. ginger. | ||
