    Boyne Area Senior Center, 411 E. Division St., is open to the public for daily lunches. For seniors age 60+, the donation is $3, for ages 60 and under. $6. For daily information call 582 6682.

  • Ice Rink Open
    The ice skating rink at Avalanche Park is now open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekends and 4 to 9 weekdays. And "Michigan's Best Sledding Hill" (as designated by "Michigan Blue" magazine) is right there, too, and a nice warming house with restrooms and free loaner skates and sleds. Say hi to Jerry Douglas, the new warming house attendant.

  • Farmers Market
    The Boyne City Farmers Market continues its winter hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays at the red barn next to the Boyne District Library on Park Street. Cooking Corner features our very own chefs creating tasty dishes using market available products. The Boyne City Farmers Market is managed by the award-winning Boyne City Main Street Program.

  • YOUNG STATE PARK is holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m.

  • Business Expo and Taste of Boyne
    3 to 7 p.m. at the former Carter's store. This expo is always one of Northern Michigan's largest business networking events, as 1,300 people come to see 95 local exhibitors, including a dozen Taste of Boyne food booths.
