Ryan Luce! Debut artist-musician Ryan Luce was exposed to Northern Michigan's rich local music traditions from a young age. Having the support of both family and community in developing his own voice, Ryan draws inspiration from local artists, traditional folk and contemporary rock music and blends it with a deep love of sound and space, arriving at something familiar and also something new. Join us for this community event, and listen as Ryan un-folds his musical discoveries, accompanying himself on guitar. The featured performer will share music from 7 to 8:30 p.m., followed by a circle jam session with area musicians. Suggested donations are $5/person, $10 /family; all donations are for the scheduled performer. Light refreshments available at no charge. The Back Porch Music night is held at the Charlevoix Senior Center Building: From US 31 at the south side of Charlevoix, turn west onto Carpenter St. (between the Pizza Hut and Flap Jack Shack). Drive .7 mile to the corner of Norwood Rd. The senior center is on the left of this corner, fully accessible facility. Contact: 231-622-2944
